Mobile Passport Control 2.7.0

The Mobile Passport Control app offers a convenient solution for streamlining the U.S. Customs and Border Protection processing experience. By simply creating a profile and answering CBP's questions, travelers can enjoy expedited entry by heading straight to the designated "Mobile Passport Control" lane at the airport.

CBP Mobile Passport Control is a voluntary program available to U.S. citizens, Canadian citizen visitors, and lawful permanent residents. It can be used at various supported airport and seaport locations listed on the official CBP website: CBP.gov.

Using CBP Mobile Passport Control involves five simple steps:

1. Eligible travelers download the application and create a profile by providing biographic information from their passport(s) and taking a selfie. Family members can also create profiles and store their information free of charge for future trips, with up to 12 eligible members per trip.
2. Upon arrival, travelers select their method of travel, port of entry, and terminal. They then answer CBP inspection-related questions, certify the truthfulness and accuracy of their responses, and submit their profiles and answers to CBP.
3. After submission, CBP sends an encrypted Quick Response (QR) code to the traveler's device.
4. Travelers proceed to the designated MPC queue upon arrival and present their QR code along with their passport to a CBP Officer. Please note that MPC does not replace the need to present your passport.
5. The CBP Officer will complete the necessary inspection.

MPC significantly improves efficiency and security during in-person inspections for both CBP Officers and travelers and helps reduce overall entry wait times.
